The cost of installing and generating your own energy in Mexico has declined significantly, we have reached a point where it is cheaper to locally generate electricity using solar photovoltaic technology rather than buy it from the CFE. In 2020, the International Energy Agency’s conclusion in its World Energy Outlook was that solar power is now the cheapest electricity in history.

By leveraging a battery energy storage system (BESS) you can significantly reduce your energy costs by buying low-cost energy from the grid to charge batteries during off-peak hours (between 12 PM and 6 AM) and discharging the batteries when energy prices and demand charges are highest in the late afternoon and early evening (between 6 and 10 PM).
